Why Fundraising Matters for Our JROTC Cadets

Although JROTC units receive support from the U.S. military, that funding is designed to cover core program needs rather than every opportunity available to cadets. Many experiences that enhance learning and leadership extend beyond what military funding can provide. Because military resources must be carefully allocated, not all trips and activities can be funded.

Community fundraising bridges that gap. Local support allows JROTC units to offer expanded programs such as rocketry, orienteering, advanced marksmanship training, and marching band participation. By fundraising, cadets gain access to meaningful experiences that enrich the program and maximize its impact.
